Dr. James Margarit, DDS, takes care of his patients the same way he takes care of his family. He prides himself on being gentle and caring, straightforward, and low-pressure.
Dr. Margarit was born and raised in the beautiful beach town of Grand Haven, MI, on the eastern shore of Lake Michigan. He graduated from the University of Michigan Dental School in 1986. Due to the state of Michigan’s economy during the late 1980s, Dr. Margarit decided to move to New Mexico after visiting a friend who had been transferred to White Sands Missile Range. He has been living, practicing, and raising a family in Las Cruces ever since.
Dr. Margarit and his wife Susan have two sons, Andrew and Charlie. Andrew completed the Dental Hygiene Program at Doña Ana Community College and joined the practice in 2015. Charlie and his wife Jennifer live in Boston, MA. Charlie is a PhD student in Chemistry at Harvard University and Jennifer is a veterinary technician.
